marc771234 Posted February 10, 2010 Share Posted February 10, 2010 hello everyone this is my first post. now i have always wanted a disco v8 so i bought one it has lpg single point. but is not looking like a good one. there is a problem with the water system the heater does not blow hot air.iv look on this forum and saw checking the oil would be a good start iv look at the oil that does not seem to be brown so hopeful it might be something simple but i doubt it. so im looking for a garage near to west sussex that could have a look.any help in finding a garage i would be grateful as a lot wont touch a car with gas.thank you Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
IanS Posted February 10, 2010 Share Posted February 10, 2010 Could just be an air lock in the system - the V8 needs to be bled through the fill tower above the RHrocker cover (at least that's where it is on the 3.5). pw8757 Posted February 13, 2010 Share Posted February 13, 2010 This should be easy to sort - had the same problems myself before now. The posts above contain the advice you need to deal with the water issues, I would do the bleeding first, then check the thermostat by putting it in a saucepan of water to see if it is opening.
