renault4
I have been scraping all the rust and flaking paint off the wheel rims of my newly aquired 110 and have reveiled some information that I need explaining. between each bolt hole there is stamped the folowing; FV738903 (the dunlop symbol) then 964 J2N 5.5 F16 569690 Can anyone de-code this for me and let me know if they are the right one for my 110 1990 TD CSW. The FV bit is for Fighting Vehicle, probaly meaning that they came from some MOD source or were intended to go to the MOD.
western
I have been scraping all the rust and flaking paint off the wheel rims of my newly acquired 110 and have reveiled some information that I need explaining. between each bolt hole there is stamped the folowing; FV738903 (the dunlop symbol) then 964 J2N 5.5 F16 569690 Can anyone de-code this for me and let me know if they are the right one for my 110 1990 TD CSW. 5.5 = rim width in inches across the inner faces of the rim not outer faces F = the shape/design of the wheel shape [the well where the tyre fits/sits in] 16 = 16 inch diameter [standard LR size] J2N & 964 are most likely Dunlop design/model numbers FV738903 is a military number FV is explained above by Jason 569690 is probaly a drawing or design number.
