CBolton Posted May 12, 2010 Share Posted May 12, 2010 Hi I have a 200tdi Disco...the central locking and alarm was working perfectly with the remote...however I have noticed that when I now lock the car, rather than the 3 flashes I used to get I get a single long flash...all the doors lock ok and the alarm light inside still flashes as before I changed the remote batteries today (new 6 months ago) and has made no difference.....any ideas ?? TwelvestringTrev Posted May 13, 2010 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Hi, inspect the bonnet switch, if jammed in the open position it's not completing the circuit and the alarm will not arm properly, only the doors will lock.
