Maverik
I find it quite ironic that reading an article in the latest LR magazine that Hobson Industries are re-furbishing "standard" N/A and other land rover parts to re-manufacture into spares for the present MOD wolf fleet. Military LR enthusiasts bend over backwards hunting for genuine wolf parts and articles to create wolf vehicles when actually the "wolf" parts are really re-branded/manufactured standard parts... Its good to see the infrastucture in place to sustane older landrover spares. I can't really comment, as I myself is hell bent on getting a Camel trophy vehicle!!! but each to there own. Yes made me think that it will be a long while before any wolfs are released though! if they have a service life upto 30yrs!
western
With current military operations, it'll be a long time before any more XD/Wolfs are released & any that are will probably be well beyond econmic repair or crushed. the older n/a diesel fleet is being reworked under project tithonus to enable more xd/wolfs to be released from non operational units.
