sharpy
Hi all, Being a complete novice on all things mechanical, could someone advise please? I have just fitted my 200tdi disco engine into my 90 and there was obviously steering fluid loss, now to bleed it do i just top up the resevoir and keep locking the steering in either direction? Any help much appreciated Paul

Mo Murphy
You'll need to let the air out sharpy, the bleed nipple is on top of the steering box (it looks a bit like a grease nipple). Mo
Gromit
You'll need to let the air out sharpy, the bleed nipple is on top of the steering box Just don't do what I did and open the bleed nipple and turn it lock to lock with the engine running. Took me days to get the ATF off the front of the house.
FridgeFreezer
Never needed to do more than top it up & turn it lock to lock a bit.
