need4speed
As above. Ive just fitted the rear tub onto my chassis, however there is a gap of roughly 5/8" between the top of the crossmember and the tub. Its lined up correctly as all the bolts are in.. At first i thought maybe my TD5 chassis wasnt 100% compatible with my rear tub. Then i noticed from the 110 parts book that there seems to be some sort of filler bracket (Part No 330271) Can anyone advise if this is the part i need to get in order to fill the gap i have? I'll take a pic over weekend to let folks see what i mean. Phil
need4speed
Ok. So a friend has just told me that 330271 (superceded by AQR710020) is actually the strip of metal that the bolts holding the back of the tub go into. Therefore its not that part i need as my tub is bolted already. Im at a loss...
landrover598
Is there a gap between the crossmember and the tub all the way across, or just in the middle section where the door / tailgate is, not at the rear light pannels ?
need4speed
No the gap is just in the centre section. Not where the lights are.. Is that normal for some? Phil

reb78
Show us a pic, but this sounds normal. Each side is slightly lower than the centre section. The bit beneath the door sits about 5mm higher than the sides.

need4speed
Thanks for the pic David. Thats how mine is except i believe the gap on mine seems a bit bigger. Dont suppose it matters much so long as all the bolts are in....
