Souster Posted October 12, 2010 Share Posted October 12, 2010 Hi there, Ive noticed that when the engine is running on my 300tdi and i press the brake pedal i can hear a hissing noise. There is deffinately no air in the brake system, it has a new master cylinder, new brake pipes and flexis, new fluid and rebuilt rear calipers. Could anybody give me any ideas and is there a problem? 101sean Posted October 12, 2010 Share Posted October 12, 2010 It's probably the servo failing but check the hoses and non return valve on the servo. It's happened twice to me in the 101, first time was complete loss of assistance, second time I had really loud hissing and the brakes slammed on with the slightest touch!
