des90
Hi all- I'v got the 90 going brilliantly on the megasquirt but keep having a problem with the fuel relay failing. It runs the fuel pump and lambda.Have tested all the wiring-all ok-and tried different relays-even shelling out for a range rover one.All to no avail-Anybody got any ideas?? Possibly I had this trouble on a racer engine I worked on, even a "New" relay didn't sort it. In desperation I took an Old BOSCH Metal silver coloured old one - and sorted. Not all relays are worth using I found The ones on the old Hotwire and Flapper looms are very good quality also check the cleanyness and fit of the connectors within the relays Nige

I have been using 30amp units-wonder if 40amp would make any difference??
FridgeFreezer
I never bother buying 30A ones, as Nige says not all relays are created equal. Then again, I had a dodgy fuel pump on my RRC which never blew fuses but killed relays, go figure.
