RustyNissanPrairie
I've drawn a dead end so far with this one but.......... A good friend has a '06 plate L322 RR Vogue with the TD6 Bmw engine. Owned for a year, local specialist serviced allthough full LR dealer service by previous owner. Trouble is the Hill Descent Control fault is flashing up, local specialist has traced it to a badly bodged multipin connector on the ABS modulator shorting out, it killed the original one and has now killed the 2nd modulator the garage fitted before they found the bodged plug. However the plug isnt available separately from LR-they want £3k for the full loom! Does anyone know if/where you can buy Bosch automotive connectors separately? RustyNissanPrairie
contact Bosch they should be able to steer you to their supplier, doubt Bosch make their own plugs. Bosch only seem interested in pointing you to main dealers, they make stuff as an OEM or supply a kit of bits to an OEM/LR.
Superpants
Are you able to post a picture up and any part numbers that are readable- There are some of the Bosch parts manufactured by Tyco (AMP) that may be identifiable in some of the data I have at work. It may then be possible to request a sample.

RustyNissanPrairie
It turns out he's got one today from a scrapper. I did find this in the meantime; http://www.dalroadnorslo.com/products/downloads/bosch_connectors_catalogue.pdf which makes it easier to find a supplier once you know the part number/description of the connector. PaulMc
BMW have connectors made for them by AMP-Tyco, although you can find some of them on Tyco's website, they are only supplied to BMW. AFAIK, BMW Connector Shells, Terminals, Seals, etc... should be available from BMW Dealers. Have a look at this online supplier - RealOEM.com: Online BMW Parts Catalogue You have to select a vehicle model and then drill-down through => Vehicle Electrical System => Diverse Plugs and Connectors Here are some example images which, if you click on them (on the website), will open the page for that type of connector/terminal, with a table showing availability and price - For Bosch Connectors Bosch do make their own connectors, see here - Bosch Industrial Business - Automotive - Connectors There's a link on that page to their Automotive Connectors - Online Catalogue That page also has links to pages (as well as - online catalogues, product info, etc...) for - Special-OEM Electric motors Lighting technology Relays Horns Switches Sensors Starters and Alternators .
