Tris Cocks
Evening all, At the weekend was taking part in a local punch hunt / challenge event and didnt damage anything - ideal, thought my luck had started to change On the way home i noticed that the landy feet low on power and a bit sluggish, nothing major but not quite right. Then came a hill, quite a long steep hill on the A 30, there was me plodding on at 55, the speed then dropped all the way down to about 25 by which point i was in second and considering getting out and walking up. There was also a fair amount of black smoke but as soon as i eased off the throttle the smoke went again, im thinking that it is the fuel lift pump on the way out, would i be correct assuming this? cheers Tris

Tris Cocks
The fuel filter was replaced in july time when i rebuilt the head, i also blanked off the EGR valve at the same time.
western
might be worth changing the filter, if that does improve things go for a lift pump.
