willfromsussex Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 I am gathering all the bits and repainting etc everything for my 72 rangie and there is one body mount bigger than the others, how many of that size should there be and where do they go, or have I been given an odd one off something else in with the parts ? willfromsussex Posted January 13, 2011 Author Share Posted January 13, 2011 Hmm, i;ve got all 10 brand new rubbers, (all the same size as the small mushroom washer things) and I have repainted the mushroom things and bought new flat washers so if I'm supposed to have big mushroom thingies for the bulkhead, are the rubbers bigger for that too? Also, does the mushroom thing go at the top or bottom? or doesn't it matter? I'm doing a 2 inch body lift as you will see from the blocks in the pic. Bowie69 Posted January 13, 2011 Share Posted January 13, 2011 Will, Oddly I have one small and one larger on the rear of my Rangie, no idea why, but I do know that it had a small rear end shunt at some time in it's life, so could well have been replaced. Is it possible that Disco mounts are the larger ones? Just a thought.... Elsewhere on the truck they are all the same size as the smaller one.
