Fatboy
We all suffer the frustration of not being able to get the bits we need at some point. I foolishly thought the invention of LRCP was going to help us owners of older vehicles but our local main Dealer rarely seems to have anything in stock... (Diff Flanges, Prop Shaft, V8 Dizzy Cap etc etc). My alternative is to drive another 20 miles and either get the kit or order it through NorthEast 4by4 (Very helpful, quick and reasonable). Today I needed a Drop Arm Ball Joint kit for the 90 and as I was passing the Main Stealer, dropped in expecting to be told "Sorry sir, don't........" but was gob smacked when the chap walked out the back and returned with the kit in a box I have no link to the business apart from being an occasionally surprised customer

I have almost given up with them now, I just use other poeple via mail order - just need to order in advance... We all suffer the frustration of not being able to get the bits we need at some point. minivin
I was surprised by Otton's in Salisbury a few weeks ago, went in there to buy some recovery rings and thought "ah, I need some transmission tunnel rubber bungs for a Series, wonder if they got any of the nasty Britpart perrish-in-two-minutes stuff", to which he then went out the back and dug out an original new LR part that he had left over, I swiftly brought it
simonb
erm well considering how often people on here are replacing those ball joints, its not surprising they are in stock Diff pinion oil seals are usually a stock item at my local dealers...
