elmscroft
Hi All, Well 10 years out of the original battery can't be bad, but age and the cold weather are finally taking its toll on the old one. Anyone got any recommendations on which new battery to go for. The current one has terminals in the centre, which seen to be £30+ dear than the terminals in the corner type. Had thought about a split charge and put two batteries in place of the current one, any suggestions? Thanks All Mike
BogMonster
You said it all - 10 years out of the original battery is bloody good. Get another one the same - it's what I'd do. £3 a year extra that's less than a penny a day!
M&S
I've only found the genuine batteries to be the correct 110Ah with the 800cca, everywhere else seems to want to sell 75ah batteries, with 600cca
Dannytd5
I've found if I get the battery's from the local place they last only about 12 months so I'm now on a pair of optima s a red top and a yellow top with split charge Works great but it cost a fortune
teabag
Main LR dealers sell 110Ah with the 800cca to fit the D2.
