markyb
My rear +2 shocks have seen better days so need to replace. I am also running -2 drop brackets. Ive bought the terrafirma +5 shock mounts the relocation ones. ( im running +2 Oldman emu springs - dislocation cones etc) My question is. ive read a bit about double carbon props etc. I was going to try it out and limit the centre axle drop if required but thought i would ask on here. also how are people rating the terrafirm shocks should mention its a 90 truck cab , 35 simexs. will be dippping in and out of challenges as done the last 2 years of the howling. rusty_wingnut
Me! I have +5" Terrafirmers with X Eng springs and arms. Running a Gwyn Lewis rear prop and have no troubles.
Bowie69
You should have no reason to limit the axle articulation even with standard props.

zim
Use a set of Gwyns shock mounts instead of your -2's. G
the bey
I ran +5 on rear with no probs with a 2 inch lift. only thing to watch is they can bottom before anything else if running -2 mounts, worth checking. You don't want to bend one. ;-)
pooler70
I am running terrafirma +5 on a 2" lift and standard prop. Havent had any problems so far. Using the terrafirma brackets with the +5. I have set my bumpstop to limit movement before it bottoms out on the shock!
markyb
cool. i have the terrafirma mounts to go with it so should be ok, bit like the Gwyn lewis mounts I have plus 2 bump stops so will see what its like on compression,
lansalot
Get some dislocation cones with hooks at the bottom - your springs might settle outside the cone if not and press against the tyre. Which isn't good..

Which isn't good.. This is good advice. I found my springs will drop out my current dislocation cones on full articulation. Worth swopping before you get problems.
