nicks90
hi folks, got a 300tdi defender 90 and both front wings are not well beyond a joke. There is only so many times you can smash them back into 'shape' with a lump hammer and a chunk of 2x2 wood so the question is, what wings will fit? I;m not bothered about air intakes on the correct side etc, as it'll get a hole drilled in it for the snorkel pipe. But what i am asking, is do the actual fittings to the bulkhead and front panel alter at all between an early 90, defender and td5? Also, complete stab in the dark, but is it possible to modify/fit series wings - as they seem to be going for about 2p each on ebay! cheers Nick
Steve King
TD5 wings certainly fit a 300TDI without much messing about.
Yostumpy
I've always fancied some lightweight type wings, or like the land cruiser type 75 'troop carrier' ones, one day!! like these....
western
the wing top attachment to bulkhead changed from a external bolt to a semi-hidden bolt in engine bay face of bulkhead. otherwise ant wing from around late 80's to Td5 will fit.
