Armadillo
I'm pretty new to the forums and even though I passed my test in a defender 110 many years ago I have only just bought my first one! It's a 2005 110 TD5 CSW, More comfy than they used to be but the "radio cassette" has to go. My question is: "Has anyone out there retro-fitted a double din cd/dvd player to a defender? What did you put in an how did you install it?" Many thanks
Andrew Chua
I've seen one before. The guy was a cad expert. Basically I believe it just to cut downwards on the plastic middle console n then fabricate a bracket of two din.
TS888
You could probably pit a double DIN in a MudUK dash console. Double din -- that's a pretty good description of the noise level inside the average Defender....

Many thanks so i take its its td5? if yes it is harder but if you can put a mud pod in then thats the easiest way, i put a single din in my mud pod with flip out screen. worked well but found it a bit low and cought the gear stick if c hanging gears fast off road.
