jad
Hi My dad and I fancy comping our J Reg 3.9 Range Rover. At the moment its very standard. Its an aircon model but this would be removed, it doesnt work very well anyway. It would be stripped out but kept road legal so it doesnt matter if it interferes with the back seats or interior trim. The problem is I just cant find any available on the internet... I have googled them and e-mailed safety devices but have not had a response yet. Does anyone know of a company that sells a suitable roll cage?. Were not bothered if its bolt or weld in but it needs to meet ALRC specs. I would prefer it to be internal as opposed to external but if anyone knows of someone selling external ones then please post a link. Thanks for your help. Hybrid_From_Hell
^^ Thats not ARC or MSA or FIA approved / approvable cage Performance and protection or even better North Off Raod - will make to order And it will be a proper cage design / tube mounting etc - not a posh climbing frame Nige
zim
Nige, you'd rank North over P+P ? I've not used North before, but have found P+P extrememly good and helpful G
Henry Webster
Another thumbs-up for Protection and Performance from me - they make some nice kit. In fact they built the RRC cage for Clarkson's Bolivia Top Gear challenge so may have an appropriate pattern on their files already. http://www.ppcages.com/news.php?do=showone&id=25&page=1 Custom Cages in Daventry also do a great job in my experience. http://www.customcages.co.uk/homepage
Hybrid_From_Hell
P&P make some loverley kit, don't get me wrong - hence the recomendation, but Shaun at NOR is far easier to deal with IMVHO so gets / and has got before My Vote Nige
jad
thanks for the suggestions guys. I have e-mailed north off road and Malcolm Whitbread (we already have one of his triallers). I sent an e-mail to neneoverland as they retail P&P cages but doubt the response will be too helpfull.... Ill give them a call when I have some time off between jobs next week. cheers Jad
