Hi all.

I have been trying to get a back box on my Freelander td4 diesel September 2001 to 2006 type.

The box I have on now has two pipes coming from it. Everytime I ask for the part I require, they tell me that only one pipe is needed. If mine has two, wont it alter the power or performance in some way if only one exit pipe is put on???

Not sure where to go on this one and I am sure that its obvious?

Thanks

Phil

It makes a difference when the box with one pipe has the wromg length and the wrong circumference to fit???????

That wasn't what you said, your original post said it was the tail pipes that are different. if it's being sold as a suitable fit then there should be no problem.

After me nearly going around the bend and not being clear enough to you guys, I now have the V6 box fitted to my TD4 2L Diesel. Sorry if I confused anyone. Apparently Nick, you are correct, they did just that on the 2001 and after. The twin tail piped boxes were fitted to the TD4 and not only the V6. The single tail pipe one is to small in circumference if you have the twin pipe system.

Thanks for all the answers though, its appreciated.

Phil
