Oakmaster
Low temperatures / cold starting what's the best battery bang for my limited bucks Thanks for their help and advice on the Airflow Meter I now have it replaced and the problem is solved. Next issue is related to starting The battery is probably past it, and I want to replace it with something that wont let the girls down when they drive it to Alps over half term. Given that Id like to get my series one and two back on the road, I don’t want to spend a fortune on an exotic battery – so what's the best bang for my limited bucks for low temperature / cold starting? cheers
moose
I would say you will not go far wrong with some think like a numax CXV-X 1000 Amp... from some where like http://www.tayna.co....-Amp-P7632.html I have three on my challenged truck and one in the disco. They can take the a lot of abuse..from winching and also no problems starting my challege truck in -18 last winter when the rest of the truck was frozzen solid (and even to the ground).
