shotrock
I replaced the lower seal on the rear door today and have noticed two cracks in the door itself. One were the wiper spindle goes through the door and another half way accross the door on the lower edge. Has anyone had the same problem, and can they be welded. western
if the cracks are in the door skin, you'll need a welder who can weld alloy [birmabright is what LR use] if it's in the box section frame that's steel, so should be fairly easy to sort. FridgeFreezer
Happens a lot with the spare wheel mounted on the back door. The steel frame is usually the problem and can be welded up quite easily. Birmabright can be TIG welded but it's not so easy.
