DiscoHere
Hi guys Last time I posted I was having difficulty in selecting gears but that just went away and all seemed to be working fine. Now however I find it is difficult to take my Disco out of 5th gear. It requires a good yank to get it out. Otherwise it seems to be working fine ..............any suggestions? NickMc
Could be the allen head grub screw has come loose in the selector housing or the plastic affair and bronze ball has disintegrated. Do you have to "stir" the stick to get the gears? The other thing that is common is the spring bias plate.

Snagger
What oil are you using? Some garages mistakenly think LT77s and R380s use EP90, which causes selection problems
xorigamixartstx
Good point even when the ATF starts to get due for a change selection can get a bit tougher! What oil are you using?
