mrfish
Given that the front prop shaft should have the front UJ about 45 degrees out of phase with the rear, why are new prop shafts sold with them in phase?
FridgeFreezer
Genuine ones or not?
pat_pending
The out of phase setting is peculiar to certain Land Rovers, phased being the normal way to assemble a double uj shaft. I would imagine most non genuine shafts are just built to a length/size/price, in factory that makes dozens of different drive shafts for multiple applications and may have no idea of the end fitment. They just build shafts how they "should" be built.
farmerboy_y2k
My GKN one was in the correct out of phase position when i bought it.
