simonr
I've been looking at making a pedal box lock similar to the X-Eng one available for earlier vehicles, to fit Tdci's. The main thing that makes it tricky is the valve thingy that sits behind the brake pedal (do you know what this does???). The next approach is to make it clamp to the clutch instead of Brake pedal. However, it appears to be very close to the bonnet release. Could one of you measure the distance between the bonnet release and side of the clutch pedal, looking parallel to the length of vehicle - in other words what is the widest thing you could insert between the two, keeping the thing parallel to the door. I'm expecting the next batch of the X-Defend Pedal Locks this afternoon - so not long if you're waiting! Si

Happyoldgit
No more than 2cms between the pedal shaft and bonnet release Si. That's using a tape off the side of the clutch pedal shaft and judging the edge of the release by eye.
simonr
Thanks - the concensus seems to be 20mm which is plenty I think! Si
