Brake Disc Discrepancy

Recommended Posts

In my search for brake parts I was just double checking stuuf on Paddocks with LR Direct.

The front discs for my 1993 Defender 90 200 tdi chassis LA933***

Paddocks list FRC7329 but LR Direct say these are for |Defender up to 1991

LR Direct is wrong. Those discs are used on the front of all non-vented post-1991 90s, and some pre-1991 (non-vented) 110s. So they are correct for the front of your vehicle.

Don't bother with drilled/grooved though. They'll just fill with mud etc. off road and wear your pads down in no time. This is where I'd be putting my money:

Had Mintex discs and pads all round on my 90 for years now, work very well :)
