mcc1979ian Posted March 31, 2013 Share Posted March 31, 2013 Ok so yesterday i went out in the disco and when i started off the steering was very stiff and was like this for at least the first 5/6 miles then loosened off but still wasnt perfect. Went shopping then when i got back in it was the same again and is like this every time i let i sit for an hour or 2. Tried again today and its still exactly the same. JeffR Posted April 2, 2013 Share Posted April 2, 2013 If it is the uj , my experience to date is that once they get dry and sticky, they are never right afterwards. Also found that it was cheaper replacing the lot as a unit than just the uj, made a hell of a difference (that and replacing the steering box and the bushes and the track rod ends).....
