Flashing fuel light on 90

Your fuel level sensor is working properly. Since it is a float it sits on top of the fuel, once it reaches a certain level the light comes on. Braking, turning and so forth slosh the fuel around causing the intermittent flashing. The less fuel you have the more steady the light will be.
