paulnb57
So Ive fitted my LaSalle headliner and cut out the sunroof hole, any suggestions on how to fill the gap between the headliner and the sunroof? I dont have the original rubber filler strip and am not sure if it will do the job? What did you use? Cheers! Paul
Big.Mike
You have to use the rubber, nothing else fits in the groove. Everything else looks weird/bodged. The problem, they are £70 a pop...

When I re-sealed the sunroof I broke the plastic clips taking the finisher off , best price I found was over £30!

I think the trim is expensive because not many people replace it... lets face it, if it falls off in a defender a bit of duct tape doesn't look out of place! I only bought my trim piece because it was raining from condensation on my head and none of the other solutions I tried worked that well.
