bernie
Jack up one front wheel of 110, and I can turn wheel and front prop whilst handbrake is on and in low/high ratio, is this ok, or is it a transfer box fault.
Gazzar
I think it's ok - if the gearbox is in neutral then the propshaft would turn the internal differential in the transfer box and thus the output gear of the mainbox, wouldn't it? If you engage diff lock, or have the main box in gear then I don't think the prop should be able to move. G.
SPendrey
Sounds OK... if you had DIfflock engaged then the transfer box diff locks and so the prop shouldn't turn. However the wheel itself may still spin as the front diff is open.
bernie
Ok, that's cleared it up, thank you.
Disco-Ron
Just remember that if you jack up the back wheels, you effectively have no hand brake, I always chock both sides of the wheels on the axle I'm not jacking!
