Eightpot Posted December 16, 2013 Share Posted December 16, 2013 The oil level is normally above the level of the drive flange, so when you pull it out to change the seal you will get half a litre of oil on the floor/on your shirt/in your eye. you don't need to drain the box completely, just take around a litre out and that should be fine.
