Delboy63
What's the best rad to use for this 3.9 v8 convertion that has the oil cooler built in Cheers del
FridgeFreezer
If it's proving hard to find one, ditch the cooler, I never had one on my 3.9 or the 4.6, as long as the water stays cooled you should be OK. The pre-turbo Defender rads (full width, no intercooler) should be close, just check the port positions. Hell, a V8 110 rad might be too easy... TheRecklessEngineer
Or get a mocal cooler for the oil. It's what I did on the series. More to complete the oil circuit - not entirely convinced it's needed.
mickeyw
I used a turbo D rad with integral cooler for my 3.9. I have since had it rebuilt with a more open core to make it easier to keep clean/clean the mud out.
Landrovernuts
I have got a 50th aniversary radiator in mine which fits a treat. You can use a landrover TD rad as already mentioned and these also work no problem. Toby
