zerolatitude Posted December 31, 2013 Share Posted December 31, 2013 Hi folks, My 95 110 has a bang (or loud SNAP) in it that I just cannot find. When you go over a bump I get a bang, that sounds and feels like it is right under my feet. My front prop is new and greased. Just did a rebuild on the motor so checked mounts.... look good. I jacked up the drivers side and have some play in that wheel and bearing. It seems to only happen when one side of the truck is going up/down in relation to the other side. (mostly when right front is going up over a bump) While checking the trany mounts, it looks like one had moved at one time, but has not moved while checking and does not appear to be moving now..... western Posted December 31, 2013 Share Posted December 31, 2013 get someone to bounce the front end while you look at the front damper bottom pins if the bushes are well worn the pin can knock the axle case, a mate had this & couldn't find it on his own, check all the above mentioned areas too.
