Specifically, I am after a pair of section that will fit closely one within the other, without binding, where the outer secion is something line 15mm by 30mm. studmuffin Posted January 20, 2014 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Cannot suggest anybody but make sure you ask for austenitic (true stainless). They also make ferritic (stainless iron) which can look similar but will eventually rust. The way to tell is take a magnet with you. True stainless is non magnetic. Cynic-al Posted January 20, 2014 Share Posted January 20, 2014 I've bought some bizarre sections from metals4u and hat good service. Locate supplies are very good but not sure what their coverage is. If I just want short bits I usually phone local fabricators or machinists and ask what off cuts they have on the shelf as they're usually glad to de clutter.
