pgrbff
Is there anywhere on the body the original colour code is recorded? Thanks
western
No, LR never stamped it on the VIN plate, have a look through here http://coachpainting.info/ click on the links in left hand side for non metallic or metallic paint depending on what you have, the years of use are on right hand side of the new page that opens. note a lot of colours have 2 or more names if used on various LR model ranges. pgrbff
Thanks. It appears only Alpine white, Savarin white fit the bill, although there seem to be several variations in the codes which is confusing.
western
Chawton white is/was a 300tdi white, a mate had one. use the 3 letter codes on the left of list.
paulnb57
If its the original colour, your nearest main stealer should be able to tell you the colour from your vin number... Paul
western
no colour code in the VIN, but a dealer will be able to find out from production records at LR the correct info.

Mustardman
Just an afterthought, when I took the door card off I found the build sheet stuck to the inside with all sorts of useful information including the colour code. Thought I'd mention it in case you had a door related job you could bring forward.
