Clutch Pedal Assembly

Recommended Posts

Starting to accumulate the parts i need to make the clutch pedal / master cylinder assembly for the v8.

Ive noticed there are a couple of different types - up to TD5, and TD5 onwards. I was just wondering what type is best, and are they interchangable?

aye hold on, will get some pics

Later type (reccomended): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-DEFENDER-90-110-130-UPGRADE-CLUTCH-PEDAL-ASSEMBLY-SKB500280-/271118156456?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f1fe6c2a8#ht_2115wt_1342

Pedal body is a stamped steel plate, and you get to fit the spring as shown.

This one is laike a formed pedal made with a piece of folded steel, you can't fit the "magic" preload spring to it.

And yes they are interchangble... (i've got a later type to fit to my 110 as I want a lighter feel)
