jumping jack
Just got the history of my ex mil 110, however I have no idea what it means, hopefully there's a pic attached. Anybody got a clue?
western
Military reg number at top = 85KE63 NATO designation fairly self explanatory DIS = DATE INTO SERVICE [as a brand new vehicle] chassis/VIN number normal LR 17 digit number UIN = unit identificatio number [for budget spending] HILTON will be the issuing unit then the first operating unit is 1st Light Infantry, then it was reallocated to 3rd light infantry, & finally discharged from military service to Withams SV the MOD vehicle disposal contractor hth. squaddiefox
Anything military you get will have been over serviced. Massively over serviced. I've had to change oil in a truck six months after doing it... With it moving 500 metres. Parking space to service bay and back. They get monthly checks and run up for an hour. Mostly though the servicing is carried out and they do very little miles compared to a civvy wagon but they are hard miles, cross country or on road with a squaddie that drives it like they stole it. Taffia
Hi JumpingJack - can I ask how you got the history?
squaddiefox
I'm sure gay don hold history for older vehicles, more recent purchases it comes from with arms or the other disposal centres themselves.
