henk
Just bought a second hand brand new JAZ fuel cell for my 90 TD5. 32 gallons or I think about 100 liters I want to pump over diesel from this tank to the standard TD5 tank using the metal filler neck NTC2676 and weld/tig an extra tube to the neck. Questions: 1. Anyone here who has experience with JAZ cells? If yes, where did you placed them? 2. The NTC2676 is intended for tanks under the seat ie not TD5 but can I still use one? 3. What size of tube do I need to get some flow?
Maverik
slightly OT but foam filled tanks are new to me, is there any particular reason why you've got an explosion proof fuel tank for diesel?
henk
Yes, it was cheap ...
Maverik
hehe just wondered, be mindful, from what I've read the foam that is used inside the tanks I believe has a certain life.
elbekko
Yup, especially with ethanol. I wonder how well it'll hold up to diesel.
