Lord_Unsub
Hi all, Having returned from the shop over the weekend I noticed a small wet patch under the engine bay. I had a roll around underneath and traced it back to what looks like an overspill pipe that emerges by the steering rack. It's quite a large bore pipe that is very thin walled, and doesn't look like it's supposed to be attached to anything? I'm guessing it's some sort of drainage pipe from the heating system, similar to what you would expect from the AC system, however I hadn't had the AC on so was just checking to see if anybody had the same thing?! Muchas ta James

EggNChips
The AC can run even if it's switched off. If the heater control is set to demist & the hot/cold is set to al least half way, then the AC pump will run to dehumidify the air. If the wet patch is water without anti freeze or screen wash, ect then I wouldn't worry.
Lord_Unsub
Cheers buddy. It was set to the configuration you just described. Certain that it hasn't got anything in it. James
