Shackleton
I'm pretty sure the loud buzzing I hear on a cold morning after start up is the interior temp sensor for the A/C. It doesn't last long. Do they all buzz when cold or do I need to investigate?
teabag
Climate control A/C ? If so you may have a fault with the fan usually caused by dust, a clean will reduce the noise. They are not temperature specific with the buzzing.
Shackleton
Not sure if we're talking about the same thing, there's a little grill by the headlight leveling switch and as far as I know it's the sensor that monitors cabin temp so the A/C knows what its doing. I think it has a little fan inside it, which must be whats buzzing in mine. I've heard it do the same in a pals Saab too. Wondering is it normal or wear. teabag
I thought what I said would be clear enough, its only normal due to wear as the dust collected? It didn't leave the factory with this sensor making a noise. Even though I don't have a D2 I know that there's a few threads on the subject. Shackleton
My mistake, I read it badly. Thanks. (I did search but obviously not well enough either)

Shackleton
Cool I'll give it a go Not a big deal really, it's only for a minute or two on cold mornings.
