ericobrave
Currently stripping my 90 200tdi in order to re-chassis and am intrigued by what this is - it was lurking under the front offside wing. Didn't find one when I rebuilt my 110. Am I being bugged!!!

western
it's the resistor for the later relay controlled dim dip headlights, there should be a pink cased relay behind instrument pack, you can remove the relay & join the 2 blue/red wires with a jumper lead in relay socket. dim dip isn't a requirement anymore.
