JeffR
I really have got far too much time on my hands at the mo and as they say the devil finds a use for idle hands, so after a particularly bad bout of insomnia, I found this : http://www.frost.co.uk/brush-on-plating-kits.html now doesn't that look useful! The wife said no, got visions of zinc/nickel plated bits and pets.
simonr
It does look useful. Did you look at the pdf instructions? They say nothing at all about brush-on plating, just tell you how to set up & use a tank for plating! Si

mickeyw
Sounds like they linked to instructions for another product. I bought a submerged zinc plating kit last year, but still not had a chance to try it out. One thing I will say is that the job needs to be scrupulously clean (and degreased) to achieve any degree of success. I can't see a chassis being a good plating candidate
