st1g Posted June 28, 2015 Share Posted June 28, 2015 My wife was driving her truck yesterday , after around seventy miles we stopped at some traffic lights ,she went to pull off but she could only get first gear ? the clutch is working fine , the gear stick is stuck in either neutral or first ? it will not move sideways at all ? dave88sw Posted June 28, 2015 Share Posted June 28, 2015 There is a nylon cup surrouning a ball that pushes/pulls on the selector rail within the box, sometimes the nylon cup melts and jams everything up, you can look by taking the centre console out and lifting the selector housing off the top of the box, then nylon cup is replaceable, if this doesnt work it's box out.
