muddy4x4xfar
hi all, I'm about to start re-building my first car i bought in early teens, I'm wanting to do something special. it had a 200tdi in it but its now going to be having a 3.9 v8 in it, the 200tdi engine will be for sale with in the next few weeks along with ancillaries etc so message me if anyone is interested. also come with radiator air cleaner. anyway I'm now looking into suspension systems . I'm looking for something a lot like what the bowler wildcat uses, does anyone know of the suspension systems used on these vehicle. I'm after something quite rally spec, so this gives you an idea if you guys can recommend anything else otherwise. I'm after something very different an a lot better handling, also places to shop are also a great help if you can recommend. many thanks for your help guys chris
landroversforever
Well the first place to start is budget. The stuff on the wildcat is probably going to be costing you over a grand a corner I'd have thought!
miketomcat
Plus a load of fabrication and welding work as I think they run hockey sticks and panhard. Tomcat motor sport do this conversion on there tomcats (tomcat is the predecessor to the wildcat). Mike
landroversforever
That's also another valid point. Can't remember if the wildcat uses a lanyard at the back or if it uses the watts linkage. As he wildcats run disco2 axles.

landroversforever
That should have read panhard not lanyard!! Bowler Motorsport would be good people to speak to or Milner off-road.
