Simon_CSK
The drivers seat on my Discovery has today developed a rocking motion. The seat is Electric adjustment and seems only the base that is rocking. The lower frame is fine and solid. Does anyone have an idea what it could be? The electric switch has not worked for three years so it is not the ajustment. Photos of the underside of an electric seat would be useful. Pawl12
I think you've probably lost some of the ball bearings out of the seat runners. Not sure how easy to get them back or if you need to replace the runners which should be the same as manual adjust seats I would think. elbekko
I've got the same in my P38. Looking at it, it's pretty much just slack in the height/tilt mechanism. Apparently it's a funny sensation when I floor it and the passenger seat tips back a bit
Simon_CSK
Turned out to be the hight tilt mechanism had broken a mount. Quick weld and everything now fine. Yes a very funny situation
