need4speed
I'm looking to fit 35" tyres onto my 110. Will my 15x8 modulars with 0 offset be ok, or will I be better getting new modulars with a -35 offset? I have heard that when fitting 35/12.5 tyres you need spacers in order to get reasonable turning circle/avoid fouling etc. I was hoping to be able to fit them without spacers on my 0 offset wheels so they don't stick out past the arches by a silly amount. Diesel_90
I'm sure my mach 5's are -32 and they just stick out past the arches with 12.5" wide maxxis trepadors
Daan
It depends if you are planning to do hardcore off road; -35 offset will really push your steering box, wheel bearings and balljoints a hard time off road. Also, the geometry (scrubradius) will get severely compromised. Plenty off people do it though. I run +8, which keeps them flush with the original eyebrows, but it is an 88", so turning circle is less of a problem. Daan

You don't want them to stick out beyond the arches *by any amount*. Unless, that is, you enjoy dealing with roadside VOSA spot-checks and being required to trailer your vehicle back home: Wiltshire Constabulary and VOSA's been rather hot on this sort of thing in the last couple of weeks. need4speed
To be honest the traffic cops up my way aren't too bad with that sort of thing. As long as there not totally OTT past the arches. They are far tighter on things like phone use while driving etc.
