Should front prop twist?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Newbie question, should the front prop shaft be able to be turned when stationary?

I was working on it today, greasing ujs and was able to twist it round slightly when trying to get to the nipple (sounds wrong!!!)

Is this normal, rear prop had no twist at all, it is newer.

Will I be fitting a new prop at some point in the future........which looks easy.

Prop rotation wouldn't mean a new prop, too much slack in transferbox and or front/rear diff, much more involved thand 8 nuts & bolts lol
