I have a cabinet and plumbed my blast pot into it. That worked quite well - what I desperately need to do though is change the hose and nozzle from the blast pot. It’s massive and so inflexible that it’s hard to use.
I also struggled with the light and visibility - some helpful suggestions on here though saw me cut a hole in the side that I can fit a vacuum in - that made a really good difference.

I’m not sure I want a Baler .. I think I’d contract that*. It’s a haybob and mower that I really need…..
but it’s way too much to ask of a relay!
(*I can’t deny though that there is a bit of me that would love to make square bales and do the whole hay time thing.)

Yes ! St Anne’s would be unbelievably convenient.
My cousin is getting married not a million miles from you, at Gellifawr Woodland Retreat, Fishguard. That’s next year.Imagine if I turned up with a haybob and a mower 😂
When you get up here - do let me know. I’ll take you for a cup of tea.
Do you have a date?

You’re a bit too far away Chris, sadly.

Just as an update - spoke to FlatDog today and getting a set of standard springs off them should be a decent start to getting it riding nicely.
Which standard ones are they going for Andy ? The progressive ones ?

This is a thread that I imagined @JeffR would get a lot of use out of ?

^ this is what I'd do, I have the same or very similar, more accurate to call it "paint-rich-zinc" given how heavy it is it loves to settle and I nearly snapped the stirring stick off in it last time I add thinners every time I open it now.
I will give it a go - I’ve a bottle of xylene somewhere, which is the thinners for this.

I bought a cheap draper fixed torx bit in a 3/8 drive - easier to get the smaller ratchet in and it it doesn’t need much force.
-
They do get swapped - the fill plug is usually a T55 torx bit - and the drain a hex head with magnetic pick up (though I’ve seen plenty with the square plug, mine included)
Can’t tell if your drain is a torx or the square one. You can swap it when you change the fluids if you want to?

I did wonder that myself - at first I thought it was in case the purple permanently live wire shorted and fed back .. but that red/yellow wire is the fog light and its warning light, which is spliced back into the dash and the ECU.
-
Be careful of the cheaper MAF sensors, it’s a common experience that they have very short lives. That’s why it’s worth making sure you need one before you buy - and then buying the best you can. I used VDO, who are now rebranded to Continental.

Thank you - that’s very encouraging.

Heated Seats wiring
in International Forum
Posted
I have puma factory heated seats in my 90 and both seats stopped working ages ago .. I finally got round to checking if they were getting 12v today.
Both are getting about 11.5 volts (which I guess is just lost through the relays and wiring.
I’m really ignorant on these - should I be getting continuity through the circuit in the seats ?
The easiest thing (purchase wise) would be to just replace all the pads .. but having never took seats to bits I’m erring on just replacing what’s broken if I can don’t it.
