  1. It took most of the day yesterday fitting it as i just took my time, not tested it yet but have tested it with car on axle stands and seemed ok so will test drive it tomorrow as its my day off
  2. It arrived today so if i get chance tomorrow after fitting the Roamerdrive i will give it ago 🙂
  3. Its arrived, will try and get it fitted on Saturday 😃
  4. Hi guys I've just bought an M18 grease gun, I do have an air grease gun which works well but gets annoying when the hose catches on something so the battery one should be better 🙂
  5. Yipee hopefully my Roamerdrive should be here today 😃
  6. The more i think about it i'm thinking of just getting a load of cable ties that way they will stop the roof of the roof tent opening whilst traveling plus if they do want to get in there shouldn't be any damage hopefully 🙂
  7. Yeah tbh i would of expected a better idea but that is how they are on this type of roof tent hence why i'm fitting security nuts, i was going to fit nyloc nuts but even though they would stay tight they can still easily be undone so i'm thinking fitting a spring washer between the plastic threaded knob and security nut
  8. Yeah got security nuts on there way for securing the tent to the bars and the bars them selfs
  9. Hi guys I know RTT'S ( Roof Top Tent's ) are not the hardest things to get into but all 4 catches that keep the thing closed are all lockable by using a padlock on all 4 of them and just wondered if anyone could recomend a decent padlock please for mainly when its parked up at home like shops and stuff 🙂
  10. Think they was but there was lots of spaces not taken up on the vendor spots and the camping fields and we was only there for the day
  11. Yeah the idea of us going is i have just purchased a roof tent for my series 2a land rover as it will be mainly used for camping at close to beaches as i do beach metal detecting in Wales, North Yorks and hopefully Cornwall and i also want to kit the back of my landy out for camping but when we arrived there we couldn't really see much in the way of things for sale or to get idea's from which as a novice is what i went for ☚ī¸
  12. Wish we hadn't gone now as it was carp as there wasn't many there and not really anything to buy or look at and for what was there was more for the seasoned camper / overlander and not really any good for a novice wanting to get into camping / overlanding but did manage to buy a couple of packs of grinding and cutting discs ☚ī¸
  13. Thanks and i will keep this in mind but i'm not going with my landy as i'm going with son in his landy with no roof tent fitted and only going for the day, incidently i do plan to fit security nuts and bolts as well as aditional security just to make it more harder to remove
  14. Hi guys Anyone going this weekend, we are going tomorrow just for the day
  15. Cheer's but i'm happy with the way it is 🙂
  16. Just after i removed the cubby box and floor plates to have the landy ready for when the Roamerdrive landed sometime this week i get an email from Syncro gearboxes saying that they have been chasing the roamerdrives and that they haven't recieved them yet and are coming from Canada they also said this is not normal for Roamerdrive as they are pretty quick, so still waiting ☚ī¸
  17. Wish my Roamerdrive would hurry up ☚ī¸
  18. Should do but won't be trying it out till the back of the landy is kitted out as an overlander, going to the Overland Adventure Show this weekend to get some idea's only going for the day though 🙂
