  1. Think i messed up getting the gauge anyway as i bought the Roamerdrive and gauge from Syncro gearboxes as they was cheaper than ebay, wanted to order direct from manufacturer as told it would be even cheaper than Syncro gearboxes but thier website was down so ordered from Syncrogearboxes but bought the fined sump off ebay then later found out the gauge is for the LT230 transfer box ☹️
  2. So upto now i'm leaning towards an high torque πŸ˜ƒ
  3. Yeah i get that with trailing arms but hopfully should get in woth the stubby if not to tight and or tightening up, snapping stuff is my main worry but i supose i could snap stuff using a 3/4 socket set as well so would have to see πŸ™‚
  4. Hi guys I'm looking at buying a Milwaukee torque battery gun / wrench but not sure which one either a mid torque or a high torque, I already have a Milwaukee 3/8" stubby which I use in my series 2a and don't have a problem with as the stubby will undo every single nut and bolt I can get to on the 2a except for the crank damper bolt ( 200tdi ) but just recently my son has bought a Disco 2 td5 and we have been doing a few jobs on it and the stubby either struggled or failed trying to undo hub nuts and top and bottom ball joint nuts and had to resort to using a strong arm with a tube for leverage or my 3/4" socket set so I quite like the high torque wrench but worried it will be to powerfull and cause more problems or do I go for a mid torque wrench, what would you suggest
  5. Another thing to look for if you have a multi meter is check to see if you have power between the chassis and engine if so that could be you problem, hope this helps
  6. I've just ordered the transferbox fined ally sump pan to go with the roamerdrive, sender and gauge

  8. Tbh i was thinking of doing the same with my trailer more for long jurnts where it would save putting up and taking down the tent everytime i wanted to leave the campsite but going away for a weekend it can stay on the landy's roof
  9. I will leave my paras on and see how it is with the tent on and if need be i will switch to std multileaf springs
  10. Yes i was looking online for GL4 but there are so many different spec's for it so was unsure hopfully the onstruction will be in the box unless someone can tell me, atm i have ep 140's in it

  13. Hi guys I've recently cashed in my savings plan at work and amongst other things i'm looking at buying a Roamerdrive for my 2a, anyone else on here got one and what are they like to fit please just so i can have 3 knobs to play with πŸ˜ƒ
  14. Originally when i ordered my garage i asked for 6' 7" doors but when the garage came and was errected the door frame was 6'7" and the doors sat inside the frame so i'd lost a few inches of hight so had to removed the strip of timber that went across the top of the doors under the top of the frame and the bottom piece as well to get my landy in 🀨
  15. Thanks, yeah we are only amaturs at joinery so think we did a good job tooπŸ‘
  16. We made are own Z frame but as we was using my trailer as a work bench the frame wasn't 100% straight but only noticed it after we made one massif door then cut it in half and hunge them but you only notice it on the inside ☹️
