  1. Hi guys Just wondering if it can be done / has been done, has anyone on here done it either using a Defender one or home made one, reason i really would like to fit Mazda RX8 seats for long distance comfort 😃
  2. Wow what a waste of a day, should have set off about 6am this morning for Church bay in Angelsey but got up a couple of hours late and i went bed early as well last night, anyway got there and the tide was in and hammering it down and very windy, i nu the tide would have been starting to come in as if we had arrived there on time but the sea was right up against the banking so no beach to detect so tried a few other beaches near by but all was the same so came home ☚ī¸
  3. Hi guys I'm going to Angelsey on Saturday metel detecting again, not been out metal detecting since July doing stuff on landy and other stuff so wish me luck 😃
  4. Nice one, you won't regret it 👍
  5. It seems to give out more power probably as its sucking in cold air rather than warm / hot air when the air intake was under the bonnet.
  6. Yep i really love mine 😃
  7. Yeah sorry we manc's call it buxton bypass 🤔
  8. Not really roughly 2k as with going back to a std transferbox, messing about with diffs then covid then a full disc brake conversion plus fitting a roof top tent and the roamerdrive i've not had much time to use it but now i'm closer to getting the gearing right and fitting the roof tent next year you won't be getting me out of it 😀
  9. Gave the landy a nice road trip today mainly to test the roamerdrive at high speeds on Buxton bypass as well as the roof tent as both haven't been on the motorway yet and part of Buxton bypass is 70 mph and both did really well so well chuffed 🙂
  10. Yeah, i mite give it a test run tomorrow and see how it is
  11. The knob is a smaller thread than the other end is but i only extended the bottom bit so never needed to check the knob end. Its done but i didn't take any pic's but will do tomorrow 🙂
  12. Right everything i've ordered in 7/16" has arriver and everything screws together so tomorrows task is to shape and cut the threaded bar to suit 🙂
  13. I'm not changing the knob just lengthening the original roamerdrive lever but still using the original roamerdrive knob 🙂
  14. Right everything i ordered in 3/8" UNC arrived yesterday so this morning i decided to do the roamerdrive lever so after removing the roamerdrive lever i went to screw in the 3/8" UNC threaded bar and it just dropped in the threaded hole where the roamerdrive lever was but looking at it all now it looks like its 7/16" UNC, 1/2" would be way to big so looks like i need to order everything in 7/16" UNC
  15. Yes i've ordered some 3/8" unc stud connectors and some 3/8" unc threaded bar and have a mess about and see what suits me best 🙂
  16. Cheer's guys i will get some ordered 👍
  17. Hi guys I would like to extend my roamerdrive lever as i have a cubby box fitted and the knob is lower than the built in cup holders on the front of the cubby box, i thought it was M10 as the knob securing nuts screw onto a piece of M10 threaded rod but M10 nuts won't screw onto the roamerdrive lever but noticed the knob securing nuts are slightly sloppy on the threads of the M10 threaded rod so obviously not M10 so has anyone got any idea's what the thread size is please.
  18. Yipee its in place at long last not the best i know but its better that knocking them off shelfs to get to stuff 🙂
  19. I've just bought a Drill Doctor and out of about 150 bits i only had 1 that wouldn't cut ( point ended up blunt ) but i had a few of the same bits so just bined it and not all bits were blunt but went through all the bits so all sharp now, it will also do SDS drill bits so had ago at doing a couple that i had and see how they are when my SDS drill arrives 🙂
  20. Its ready for fitting but drill not turned up yet should have been here today will probably turn up tomorrow when i'm back in work ☚ī¸
  21. Hi guys I'm asking this for my son as the front seats are a bit worn out, we liked the RX8 seats in our Def 90 we used to have but not sure if they would fit, can anyone help please 🙂
  22.
