  1. All done.. used hole saw through rubber then just had to “carefully “ hacksaw outer sleeve til I could break it free. No damage to rod so all good. just checking.. is 88nm sound correct for putting back on? Thanks again fellas.. another job out the way
  2. Yep so that does make sense for the blue arrow on pic is the side that goes nearest diff
  3. See that makes sense.. how come mine was curving other way then ??
  4. Having problems pressing out. The old bush.. does it press out just the rubber or should it come out with a sleeve aswell ??
  5. So.. it came off easy enough but I got a question red arrow side nearest diff or blue arrow?? it was red arrow, but it looks like it should be blue to curve round it ?? anyone ??
  6. Agreed they do look very good no need to apologise. All the info might help someone else out. I went for maxxis at980e in the end. Couldn’t stretch to some of the other more well knowns. They got very good reviews from what I found. I’m very happy with them. Nice n quiet, and it stops in the rain and dry. Looking forward to snow test. ( just not yet). Will post pic tomorrow now I’ve painted her up. cheers
  7. Cool cheers Ralph is it a one end at a time job or take whole rod off to enable the press in ? wheels on floor is ok? I think I’ve seen a vid somewhere thanks
  8. Ok I’m back on the steering.. the nuts n bolts Ralph mentioned?? Are they just a normal 14mm x 80mm bolt with nyloc nuts ?? Or “special” Thanks
  9. Very kind offer VB .. much appreciated. Your a little bit of a trek from me though. I’ll run it down to the tyre shop I know. They have a press down there. Thanks though fiest of all I need to get the painting finished. This really is never ending . 😁
  10. Great info fellas thanks gonna go with VB experiences and stick with genuine. are they simple enough to fit? Assuming it’s a press to put back in ?
  11. Cheers Ralph, VB Anyone recommend any trusted sites for genuine? whenever I seem to order genuine it turns up in a blue bag. thanks
  12. Oh hang on.. is it one of these.. guessing the m14 one??
  13. Appreciated Ralph don’t suppose you know the superpro part numbers ?? ta
  14. Afternoon chaps Anyone tell me what this bit is? I need the bush where the red arrow is pointing. Part numbers would be even better i have noticed a knock, happens when turning left and braking at same time. Not loud or violent, just a little donk. And not all the time, very seldom in fact, twice maybe. But as I plan to use for a trip to Scotland at the end of August with the kids I would prefer to sort now Tell me it’s an easy job please thanks mark
  15. Got ya 👍 when I google err1178 which I believe is correct number, it’s hard to see what’s what thanks fellas
  16. Hi monkie yep I get that, I wasn’t looking at interchanging. I was wondering if I got a new 200 pump for my 200 engine does it come with the spring etc. Or do I buy part 9 in bottom pic separately from the pump ??
  17. Ralph Not wanting to hijack, but the parts you mention above do they form part of the pump on a 200tdi. I’m looking at getting a new pump so was just wondering?? Thanks
  18. Appreciate all the replies fellas. Il check again in morning when gin is a little less obtrusive Til the morning 👍
  19. Fairy certain it is on mine.. I’ll check again tomorrow when I’m less frustrated. It’s opposite the green black so would make sense to be part of the 2way plug that goes next to the 8 way in order to make up the 10. mind you when i took the 2way plug off it obviously wasn’t connected properly due to the m/f on 1 side and the F/F on the other. It had been rotated 90deg in order to connect just the green/blacks together Printed circuit ordered thanks for link 👍
  20. Had dash apart now.. again. it seems white /slate is also at the plug on back of dash bulb. Definitely can’t see a white slate at the 10way multi plug though ?? Strange one. anyway.. at least pulling the warning panel off did highlight one thing. The printed circuit to the low fuel bulb is knackered 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 so, anyone got a printed circuit going ?? cheers again Ralph 👍
  21. But does it matter that if I do that then his mate will be slate red ?
  22. Reviving an old one.. I have a white/slate trace that looks broken off.. guessing it’s the low fuel light... however, the double plug as Ralph’s pic above with the white slate and green black, on mine it A doesn’t plug in anyway, Male&female to 2xfemales and B if it did then the green/ black would marry up but the white slate would marry to a slate/red trace ?? hopefully pic below will explain better than my words lol Was a 2.5td now a 200tdi 1987 have I got a different look going inside to dash ?? Thanks
  23. The above pic isn’t my one.. pretty sure it’s the same. Just going from memory though. I’ll get time tomorrow to get underneath and have a proper look thanks Ralph
